Profile
William M. Olah has counseled business entities and their principals for over 32 years, both within Indiana and beyond. Particularly active in the areas of small business mergers and acquisitions, Bill also has extensive experience in real estate development and leasing, zoning issues, tax abatements, and construction disputes. He has advised countless clients on all sorts of federal and state tax matters and has represented them before the full gamut of administrative agencies and courts—including the Supreme Court of the United States. Bill’s financial, trust, and tax planning acumen have gained him a favorable reputation as one of the premier estate planners and probate attorneys in west central Indiana.

Bill joined the firm in 1987, having been a partner in another Terre Haute law firm following his return to his birthplace after being awarded his juris doctor, cum laude, in 1978 by the University of Arkansas School of Law. (He is also admitted to the Arkansas bar.) A 1974 graduate (with honors) from Rose-Hulman Institute of Technology with a B.S. in biological engineering, he worked for General Motors Corporation and later successfully faced the challenges of meeting payroll while a small business owner himself.

He has served on the boards of directors of numerous business, civic, charitable and church concerns. Married to Janet, Bill divides his non-professional time between pursuit of his only vices—golf and fishing.
